Role description

Your primary responsibility as an account manager is to grow one or more accounts. You're part of the sales team. You work closely with the insights team to make sure that customers continue to be happy with our services. Besides drafting proposals based on customers' recurring needs, you're expected to identify opportunities to deliver more value to our customers by providing recommendations. Furthermore, you're expected to establish deep relationships with our customers to understand their needs and pains to help shape the product roadmap. It is possible that in this role that you will have one or more junior account managers reporting to you.

  • Competitive compensation ($70,000 - $90,000), uncapped commissions

Role requirements

  • Based in the East Coast - New York preferably
  • Minimum 3-years B2B sales experience. Preferably in consumer insights/analytics
  • Minimum 3-years selling experience to customers in FMCG (pre is F&B, Home Care, Personal Care, OTC Pharma). Fortune 500 preferred
  • Experience in working at a Fortune 500 company or consultancy firm
  • Excellent interpersonal/client relations, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to influence/persuade others and gain acceptance/approval of controversial or innovative ideas and concepts; ability to implement strategic plans
  • Good negotiation, organizational, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Proven account management track record
  • Ability to quickly learn online sales and project management solutions
  • Energized to help clients succeed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred
