We're on the lookout for a Business Development Manager extraordinaire—a master of sales in the realm of market research or software technology services. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to seek out, prioritize, and close those shiny new business opportunities that will take us to new heights
Responsibilities
- Grow service offering revenue within prospective new client accounts
- Become an expert on Veylinx's solutions and the competitive landscape
- Identify and establish relationships with potential new clients
- Report on account activity and generate projections
- Manage a consistent and predictable sales pipeline of new business
- Identify and build strategic relationships

- OTE $120,000-$150,000
Role requirements
- Based in New York, Boston, Chicago or Cincinnati preferably
- Minimum 3-years B2B sales experience. Preferably in consumer insights/analytics
- An existing network of customers in FMCG (pre is F&B, Home Care, Personal Care, OTC Pharma). Fortune 500 preferred
- Preferably has experience in working at a Fortune 500 company or consultancy firm
- Excellent interpersonal/client relations, verbal, and written communications skills
- Ability to influence/persuade others and gain acceptance/approval of controversial or innovative ideas and concepts; ability to implement strategic plans
- Good negotiation, organizational, prioritization, and planning skills
- Ability to quickly learn online sales and project management solutions
- Energized to help clients succeed
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred
