Role description

We’re looking for a business development manager who has sales experience in market research, SaaS or other software technology services, ideally in a high-growth environment. Your main objective is to pursue, prioritize, and close new business opportunities.


  • Grows service offering revenue within prospective new client accounts

  • Competitive compensation ($80,000 - $100,000), uncapped commissions

Role requirements

  • Based in the East Coast - New York preferably
  • Minimum 3-years B2B sales experience. Preferably in consumer insights/analytics
  • An existing network of customers in FMCG (pre is F&B, Home Care, Personal Care, OTC Pharma). Fortune 500 preferred
  • Experience in working at a Fortune 500 company or consultancy firm
  • Excellent interpersonal/client relations, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to influence/persuade others and gain acceptance/approval of controversial or innovative ideas and concepts; ability to implement strategic plans
  • Good negotiation, organizational, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Ability to quickly learn online sales and project management solutions

  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred
